The awning material itself was in great shape. We didn't see any creases where the color had worn off like previous reviews mentioned. Installation did can be a bit tricky. The hardest portion was putting the cording into the slot of the metal awning to hold the valance portion in place. Once you put the material in, the hem of the fabric made the opening smaller and the plastic cording was to thick to slide it in easily. We had to taper the end of the cording to make it more like a pencil point, then it slid in much easier. We could then slide/push it through to the end. We haven't actually used the awning at this point but so far it's good. I would have no problem recommending this product, especially for the price. As for instructions, YouTube videos helped, but the awning wound in a different direction then the video noted. Also. the holes on the left side of our awning were not exactly as the video noted. We were able to figure it out on our own and finished it in less than a day.Our awning ripped during a storm. Replacing it yourself is so very economical and easy. After watching some YouTube videos and following instructions, it took us less then 2 hours.The fabric was a little thinner then the original one but working fineI received this awning today and installed it in less than an hour. It was a lot easier than I thought. Great replacement for not a lot of money.Was pretty simple to set up have had to do before unfortunatelyLooks good hope it lasts it came folded up and had some spots that were creased (pic.) but I didn’t notice until later so I will see how long it lasts.My awning was just power on one side so it was easy to install but you will need help sliding it into the grove on the trailer Note: file and smooth out the end you are feeding it into or it will catch on the edge. Also it’s a little saggy I first went in the same slots but it was really saggy so I moved to the next slots and yes I can roll it back in to make it tighter but I will cover the lights in the awning tube.Had a little trouble installing it but looks goodPerfect sized awning for my Jayco. It took my wife and I about 2 hours and some minor adjusting to get it installed. Appears to be well designed and durable, easy to open and close. Get it, not a difficult DYI install! Watch a YouTube video, very helpful.This is my second replacement since my RV was new. 2 stars for good look. The first replacement with different brand was thicker than this fabric. It did say in the manual “ due to cost of shipping fabric is folded and paint can peel off on the creases”.The 3rd picture shows a pin hole and there were 4 of them in line where creases were. ? They were not kidding but did not expect pin holes. ? I will just have to live with it as returning is not worth it. Ship it back to China? Nope! I will just have to take care of it. Part came very quickly but I had to wait until spring to install.Watched a couple of YouTube videos, installed the awning. However, I didn't get it right and it wouldn't roll up properly. I contacted Awnlux to ask if they had specific instructions on tensioning the spring. They got back to me immediately with instructions. I also watched another YouTube video that specifically told me what I had done wrong.All in all, very happy with product and service.Am very impressed with the quick delivery from China! Received an email from Lynn to verify size within an hour of ordering, then received in 3 days (excluding the weekend) via DHL, for FREE! The awning was a little troublesome to install however I had issues with the channel being siliconed for no apparent reason, had to spend a couple of hours cleaning it out! Once that was out of the way, the rest was fairly simple, however recommend 3 people to install. Watch 4-6 videos on YouTube and the task becomes very easy. The quality of the awning was way better than the original, very impressive! Came with everything needed. YouTube was a great help for my one man, never before awning replacement. Must have been either shorter or longer than original awning as latch lever didn’t line up properly. Had to dismantle forward spring , latch assembly again and reassemble after turning it back about 30 degrees to make everything lie up properly. Real pain but work greats now and a lot cheaper than having a rv dealer replace it.
